The Chobe region of Botswana is not only home to an abundance of game but is also comprised of four very distinctly different eco-systems, each with their own unique charm. Around the Chobe National Park visitors will find the largest population of elephants on the African continent while in the Serondela area they will step into lush plains and forests filled with rare and unusual birds. The Linyanti Swamps, with its papyrus-lined lagoons, are filled with elephants, buffalo and zebra and in the Savuti region visitors will be surrounded by the continent’s mighty predators, the famous lions of Savuti along with masses of wildebeest, impala and warthogs.
