Best time to travel:

  • Travel to Mozambique from April to December BUT the best moths to visit being May, August, September and October. 
  • Temperatures are high for a large part of the year as Mozambique has a tropical to sub-tropical climate.
  • The warmest months are December to February with the cooler being June to August. At this time temperatures are in the lower twenties.
  • The country has a summer rainfall from November to March and experiences the occasional cyclones in February or March.
  • April to October are the drier months and bear in mind the Quirimbas is hotter than the Bazaruto Archipelago.
