Mantis Biyela Lodge is set amid the rolling hills of Zululand in the game-rich Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. This historic region was once a royal hunting ground and was also the birthplace of Operation Rhino, established by the renowned conservationist Dr Ian Player nearly seven decades ago. Offering 12 one-bedroom suite accommodation catering for just 32 guests, the lodge is elevated above a valley on rocky cliffs looking onto an oxbow lagoon in the White uMfolozi River. All of the expansive villas offer either a plunge pool or day bed on the private balconies.
