Jacy is a native Texan, and lives in the capital city of Austin, Texas. She became a travel enthusiast while co-owner of a successful travel photography business. Upon the buyout of her business and because of her passion for travel, Jacy remained in the industry, becoming a Virtuoso Luxury Travel Advisor.  After gaining experience and expertise, she founded her own brand as an independent luxury travel advisor within the Virtuoso Travel Consortium.

A travel industry event brought Jacy to the continent for the first time, where she explored Cape Town, drove scenic coastal roads of South Africa, and travelled to Namibia. This coupled with years of curating exciting African adventures for clients made Africa one of her heartfelt loves.
