Lisa Griggs

Africa Travel Expert

Lisa has a background in the South African wine industry, and has worked on various estates including Nederburg and Klein Constantia. Between 2001 and 2006 she ran her own wine export business, firstly based in the Cape Town Tourism office and later in her own little wine shop in Kalk Bay.

She lectured for 10 years at the Cape Wine Academy, and ran her own course called “The Little Wine Course”. As a registered Tourist Guide, Lisa was affiliated with The Last Word group as their in-house specialist wine guide between 2007 and 2012. She spent the last two years working as Operations Team Leader for a UK-based group tour operator, before joining the Giltedge Africa inbound team.
