Philippa Lawrence

Africa Travel Expert

Originally from Johannesburg, where she completed a travel degree, Philippa is a true globetrotter at heart. She managed a retail travel agency for 17 years and travelled a lot – living in Australia, UK, and Argentina. She came back to South Africa under one condition: that if she couldn’t travel herself, she’d organise holidays for other people.

South America stole her heart and is still one of her favourite destinations. Specifically, Valparaiso in Chile, and the mountain pass that meanders from the Mendoza winelands in Argentina over the Aconcagua mountain, the highest mountain in South America. Philippa’s bucket list destinations include Alaska and Canada for the mountains, trees and wide, open spaces.
